What this product is

The Boardwalk BWK138 is a 60-inch broom handle made from natural lacquered hardwood with a die-cast aluminum threaded tip. It is designed for janitorial staff, facility managers or homeowners who need a sturdy, single-piece replacement handle for standard push brooms or sweepers.

What to check before ordering

Confirm that your existing broom head uses a threaded socket with a 1 1/8-inch diameter opening, as the aluminum tip is built to that specification. The handle is sold individually, so verify the quantity required for your cleaning cart or storage area before purchasing.

Build quality and daily use

The hardwood shaft is finished with a smooth lacquer coating that resists splintering and provides a comfortable grip during extended sweeping tasks. The unbreakable aluminum thread prevents stripping or cracking common with plastic tips, allowing repeated attachment and removal of broom heads without damaging the connection.

Questions about this item

Does the Boardwalk BWK138 broom handle come with a broom head or must I buy one separately?

The package includes one 60-inch natural lacquered hardwood handle with a die-cast aluminium threaded tip; a broom head is not included and must be purchased separately.

The model is listed as BWK138 138 — does the number 138 indicate a different length or diameter option?

No, 138 is the manufacturer’s model identifier; this handle is a single 60-inch length with a 1 1/8-inch diameter and there are no alternative sizes under this model.

Will the aluminium threaded tip on the BWK138 fit standard broom heads I already own?

The die-cast aluminium tip uses a common threaded pattern that matches most standard broom heads, so it will screw onto typical heads without an adapter.
