Quick-Change Mop Handle

The Boardwalk BWK605 is a wooden wet-mop handle with a side-gate mechanism that clamps the head in place using a thumb wheel. It measures 62 inches long with a 1.13-inch diameter and a lacquered natural finish. The metal head assembly accepts standard 1-inch headband mops rated #20 and up, sold separately.

Maintenance teams needing fast head swaps

Cleaning crews who change mop heads frequently will benefit from the tool-free gate design. Buyers who want more storage or a built-in wringing function should look at something else, as this handle only secures the head.

62-inch wood handle length

The 62-inch length determines whether the handle matches the user's reach and the bucket depth in your facility. If a shorter or longer reach is required, this model will not fit the workspace.

Questions about this item

Will the BWK605 handle work with the size 20 cotton mop heads I already stock?

Yes, the quick-change metal head is designed to fit mop heads #20 and up, so your existing heads will clamp securely.

How can I confirm the thumb-wheel clamp is holding the mop head firmly after I install it?

Slide the side gate open, seat the 1-inch headband, then tighten the thumb wheel until the head cannot twist or pull free.

Does the 62-inch lacquered wood handle ship with a mop head, or do I need to order heads separately?

The handle is sold as 1 each without a mop head; 1-inch headband mops must be purchased separately.
