36-Inch Dust Mop Head

The Boardwalk 1036 is a 36-inch replacement mop head built for commercial floor maintenance. Its high-grade four-ply cotton construction traps large volumes of dust in a single pass. The cut-end design increases surface contact for effective pickup on hard floors. Handle and frame are sold separately.

Sustained Load Behaviour

The four-ply cotton retains its dust-holding capacity across extended cleaning sessions without shedding fibres. Laundering inside the supplied mesh bag preserves the yarn structure through repeated wash cycles. Quick-drying synthetic backing reduces turnaround time between uses. The half-tie keyhole attachment stays secure during long pushes.

Thermals Noise And Power

Passive cotton construction generates no heat, noise or electrical draw during operation. Machine washing follows standard cold-water cycles with no special energy requirements. The mesh bag protects both the mop head and other laundry items. Air drying is accelerated by the open synthetic backing design.

Questions about this item

Does the 36-inch cotton head add much weight or drag when used all day?

The four-ply cotton construction is designed for dust mopping and is washable, so it stays manageable during extended use.

What frame or handle do I need to attach the 1036 head?

A compatible dust-mop frame with a half-tie or keyhole attachment is required; the handle and frame are sold separately.

Will the keyhole-style backing fit the older clamp-style frame I already own?

The half-tie synthetic backing uses a keyhole design, so it works with frames that accept that style, not with clamp-only frames.
