What the Bobtot ET2240A is

The Bobtot ET2240A is a portable Bluetooth 5.3 speaker finished in green that delivers 5 watts of total power through a 2.0 active configuration. It is built for listeners who want a compact, waterproof unit for music, movies or calls while moving between indoor and outdoor spaces.

What the accessories and features change

A carrying strap ships in the box and can be attached to either side of the triangular cabinet, letting the speaker hang from a bag, bike or shower rail. True Wireless Stereo pairing links two units for 20 watts peak output with left and right channel separation, while IPX7 protection allows submersion up to 30 feet for 30 minutes without damage.

Installation and common issues

Pairing starts automatically when the speaker powers on and connects to a phone within the 10 metre Bluetooth 5.3 range. The 15 hour battery life covers most day trips, but recharging requires a USB source not included in the package. The fabric wrap resists splashes yet can retain moisture if the speaker is stored wet, so air drying before packing is advised.

Questions about this item

Will the battery eventually need replacing after many charge cycles?

The built-in battery delivers up to 15 hours of playback per charge; like any lithium-ion cell it will lose capacity over time and cannot be user-replaced.

What limits continuous playback before the speaker must be recharged?

Battery capacity is rated for 15 hours of playtime, so that is the hard limit for uninterrupted use.

How hot or loud does the unit get when running all day at moderate volume?

With only 5 watts total power and passive cooling, the enclosure stays cool to the touch and produces no audible fan noise during extended sessions.
