Bobtot Sound Air ET35 portable speaker

The Bobtot Sound Air ET35 is a compact Bluetooth 5.3 speaker rated at 5 watts total power in a 2.0 channel layout. It targets listeners who want a lightweight, waterproof unit for music and calls around the house or on short trips.

Sustained playback with 1200mAh battery

A built-in 1200mAh cell delivers up to 16 hours of playtime per charge, varying with volume level and track type. Bluetooth 5.3 keeps the link stable to 33 feet, so the speaker maintains consistent output during long sessions without frequent recharging.

IPX7 waterproofing and TWS pairing

The IPX7 rating means the enclosure survives immersion in water, making it suitable for poolside or shower use. Two units can be linked via True Wireless Stereo for wider stereo separation, while the 4.5 cm drivers and 78 dB signal-to-noise ratio keep daily listening clear.

Questions about this item

Does the 5 W active speaker run noticeably warm or drain the 1200 mAh battery quickly when played at high volume all day?

The 5 W active amplifier is modest, so the enclosure stays cool during extended use, and the 1200 mAh cell still delivers up to 16 hours of playtime depending on volume and content.

What does a buyer need to have already for the speaker to produce sound out of the box?

Any Bluetooth 5.3 source such as a smartphone, tablet or laptop — no cables, apps or separate amplifier are required.

How does the 18 KHz upper frequency limit affect listening alongside an older speaker that reaches 20 KHz?

The 18 KHz ceiling trims the very top octave, so paired with a wider-range unit the ET35 will sound slightly darker, yet the 78 dB SNR keeps mid-range detail clear.
