Dual 5 MP Camera Kit for Raspberry Pi
This package contains two BONAEVER camera modules built around the OV5647 sensor. Each unit captures 5 megapixel stills at 2592 x 1944 and records video at 1080p 30 fps, 720p 60 fps or 640 x 480 at 60/90 fps. The modules connect via the CSI bus and include adjustable focus plus automatic infrared fill light for low-light scenes.
Replaces single fixed-focus or non-IR modules
Upgrading from a basic camera without night illumination or manual focus is worthwhile when you need round-the-clock monitoring or close-up detail. The twin pack suits projects that require simultaneous stereo capture or redundant coverage. Builders staying with a single daytime-only sensor will not benefit from the extra hardware.
Check CSI port and cable type before ordering
Full-size Pi boards (B, B+, A+, 2, 3, 4) use the included FFC cable while Zero and Zero W need an FPC cable not supplied here. Verify your board has a free CSI connector and that the ribbon length fits your enclosure. Projects requiring wider dynamic range or global shutter should look elsewhere.
