Compatible ThinkPad Models

This hard-shell case is made for 14-inch ThinkPad X1 Carbon generations 9, 10 and 11, and X1 Yoga generations 6, 7 and 8. It does not fit the Carbon Gen 12 or any other laptop line.

Magnetic Two-Piece Design

A hidden magnetic joint links the top and bottom halves so the case snaps on and off without tools. The magnets are not a rigid hinge, so the halves separate easily when you need to remove the laptop.

Protection and Cooling Balance

PU leather with a linen-like texture and a microfiber lining guard against scratches, sweat and fingerprints. Ventilation holes on the bottom let air circulate while the 3 mm overhang absorbs minor impacts. An elastic side loop holds a stylus, though no stylus is included.

Questions about this item

How much does the case add to the weight of my X1 Carbon Gen 10?

The case weighs 350g, adding roughly a third of a kilogram to the laptop's weight.

Does the magnetic split design affect how the case sits on a desk?

The hidden magnetic link keeps the two halves aligned, but it is not a rigid hinge, so the case remains flexible when open.

Will the 323 by 230 by 28mm dimensions fit inside my slim backpack sleeve?

The external size is 323 by 230 by 28mm, so measure your sleeve's internal clearance against those figures.
