Shares four USB 3.0 devices between two computers with one-button switching and LED indication
The BONAEVER switch lets two computers share four USB 3.0 peripherals such as a printer, scanner, mouse, keyboard, card reader or flash drive. A single button toggles the active system while LED indicators show which machine is connected. No drivers are required for Windows, macOS, Linux or Chrome OS, so the device works immediately after plugging in.
The switch maintains USB 3.0 data rates up to 5Gb/s across all four ports during continuous use, avoiding the slowdown that occurs when multiple high-bandwidth devices share a single host controller. One-button switching remains responsive even when storage drives or cameras are actively transferring data. The micro USB power receptacle accepts an optional 5 V adapter to stabilise operation with power-hungry peripherals.
The unit draws minimal power from the host USB ports during normal operation and produces no audible noise because it has no moving parts or fans. When an external 5 V adapter is connected for high-draw devices, the switch distributes power cleanly without generating noticeable heat. The driver-free design keeps CPU overhead negligible on both connected computers.

The BONAEVER USB 3.0 Switch Selector has no fan and no active cooling components, so it produces no fan noise and negligible heat during continuous daily operation.
You need two USB cables to link each computer to the switch plus the four USB 3.0 peripherals you want to share, such as a keyboard, mouse, printer and scanner.
Yes, the switch supports USB 3.0 data rates up to 5 Gb/s and is backward compatible, so USB 2.0 keyboards and mice operate normally alongside USB 3.0 storage devices.
