iPad 9.7 inch 2017 2018 protection

This rugged case fits Apple iPad 9.7 inch 2017 and 2018 models with numbers A1822, A1823, A1893 and A1954. It combines a polycarbonate back with shock absorbing TPU and a built in glass screen protector. A shoulder strap is included for easy carrying. The case seals ports and buttons against water and dust.

Waterproof seal and kickstand daily use

The case is rated waterproof to a depth of 2 metres when the water test is passed before immersion. Port covers keep dirt and moisture out during extended outdoor or classroom use. The built in kickstand holds the tablet in both landscape and portrait orientation for hands free viewing. Precision cut outs maintain access to speakers and controls.

Model specific fit only

This case fits exclusively the listed 9.7 inch iPad models from 2017 and 2018 and will not fit any other tablet. Wireless charging and Apple Pencil use remain functional with the case installed. Cable charging requires the original Apple cable because larger connectors cannot enter the port opening.

Questions about this item

Does the case trap heat during all-day use?

The polycarbonate back and TPU frame are passive materials with no active cooling; they do not generate heat themselves.

What iPad model must I already own for this case to fit?

You need an Apple iPad 9.7 inch 2017 or 2018 (5th or 6th generation) with model number A1822, A1823, A1893 or A1954.

Will my original Lightning cable still plug in while the case is on?

Only the original Apple cable fits the charging-port cut-out; cables with larger heads cannot be inserted.
