Bondo 813 Stage 4 Tack Cloth

The Bondo 813 Stage 4 Tack Cloth is a janitorial supply designed to remove loose sand dust and trash particles from surfaces before priming and paint application. It is intended for automotive refinishing and general surface preparation tasks.

Automotive painters needing a clean substrate

This cloth suits painters and refinishers who must eliminate fine debris before coating. It is not for buyers who need a liquid cleaner, a reusable microfibre towel, or a product that removes oils and grease.

Pre-paint surface preparation step

Use the tack cloth after sanding and before applying primer or paint to capture remaining particles. It frees the surface from dust that could cause finish defects and requires no additional equipment or solvents.

Questions about this item

What surface should I have ready before using the Bondo 813 Stage 4 Tack Cloth?

Use it on a sanded surface that is free of loose dust and debris before you apply primer or paint.

Will the adhesive on this tack cloth leave residue on my older primer coats?

The cloth is designed to lift loose particles without leaving a sticky film on existing primer or paint layers.

How can I confirm the Bondo 813 is still effective after opening the package?

Lightly wipe a test area; the cloth should pick up fine sanding dust and leave the surface feeling clean to the touch.
