SoundLink Flex 2nd Gen portable speaker

The Bose SoundLink Flex (2nd Gen) is a compact Bluetooth speaker finished in Petal Pink. It connects wirelessly via Bluetooth 5.3 and includes a built-in microphone for calls. An IP67 rating means the unit is dustproof, waterproof and floats, while a utility loop allows it to be clipped to a pack. It is designed for listeners who want high-fidelity sound in a rugged, grab-and-go form factor.

Sustained playback and charging cycle

A lithium-ion battery delivers up to 12 hours of continuous playback on a full charge. Recharging the speaker takes approximately 4 hours using the supplied USB Type-C cable. This balance lets the speaker run through a full day of outdoor activity before needing an overnight top-up. The battery chemistry supports repeated daily cycles without user maintenance.

Bluetooth 5.3 operating range

Bluetooth 5.3 provides a stable link to the source device up to 30 feet away in open air. Walls, interference or body shielding will reduce the practical distance, so the speaker works best when kept in the same general area as the phone or tablet. The standard does not support multi-room audio on its own; grouping with other Bose smart speakers requires the separate SimpleSync feature.

Does the speaker get hot or drain quickly when playing at high volume all day?

The lithium-ion battery delivers up to 12 hours of playback and recharges in 4 hours via USB-C, with no active cooling to generate heat.

What cable or charger do I need to power the SoundLink Flex 887612-0600 out of the box?

A USB Type-C cable is included; any 5 V USB charger or powered port will recharge the battery in about 4 hours.

Can I pair this Petal Pink Flex with my older Bose SoundLink Revolve for stereo sound?

SimpleSync lets the Flex group with existing Bose smart speakers and soundbars, so it can play alongside a Revolve in party mode.
