BOSS AUDIO BTAI7811 1/2 DIN Receiver

The BOSS AUDIO BTAI7811 is a single-DIN car receiver with a 7.0-inch panel. It delivers 60 watts of power output and includes Bluetooth for hands-free calls and wireless music streaming. Voice assistant integration allows convenient access to voice commands while driving. The chassis fits standard U.S. single-DIN openings.

Suits drivers wanting voice control

This unit suits drivers who want built-in voice assistant integration and an RCA subwoofer output for enhanced bass. It supports steering wheel controls for safer operation. Buyers needing double-DIN dimensions or a different panel size should look elsewhere. The fixed 7.0-inch panel does not adjust for larger dash openings.

Key spec: 7.0-inch panel with 60-watt output

The deciding specification is the 7.0-inch panel combined with 60 watts of power output. This defines the physical fit in a single-DIN slot and the amplifier strength for your speakers. The panel measures 7.4 inches wide by 2.4 inches high. Confirm your dashboard opening matches these dimensions before purchase.

Questions about this item

How do I wire the 1/2 DIN chassis and 7.0 inch panel into a single-DIN dash opening?

Mount the 2.4 by 2.3 inch body in the standard single-DIN sleeve, then secure the 7.4 by 2.3 inch panel so it sits flush with the dash trim.

Which parts of the BTAI7811 will need replacement after daily use?

The 3.5mm auxiliary jack and the USB port can wear from repeated plugging; the faceplate hinge may loosen over time.

At what volume does the 60 watt amplifier start to clip during long drives?

Sustained output near the 60 watt rating causes thermal protection to engage, reducing power until the unit cools.
