Car Stereo Receiver With Bluetooth And USB

The BOSS AUDIO 694334988877 is a single-DIN head unit designed for drivers who want wireless audio streaming and hands-free calling in older vehicles. It supports MP3, WMA and WAV playback from USB storage and offers an auxiliary input for wired devices. The unit includes a wireless remote control for convenient operation.

Plastic Chassis With Dual Knobs And 3.5mm Jack

The receiver measures 188 by 57 by 65 millimetres and weighs .3 kilograms, fitting standard dashboard openings. Dual rotary knobs provide tactile volume and tuning control alongside the LCD display. A front-panel 3.5mm auxiliary jack and USB 2.0 port allow quick connection of phones or flash drives without reaching behind the dash.

12-Volt Operation With Preset FM Tuner

The unit runs on a 12-volt vehicle electrical system and draws minimal current during normal playback. Its digital FM tuner stores 18 preset stations across the 87.5 to 108 MHz band. Power-off memory retains settings when the ignition is switched off, and the built-in microphone enables clear hands-free conversations.

Questions about this item

What Bluetooth version does the 694334988877 use, and does it limit audio quality?

The specifications list Bluetooth without a version number; it supports hands-free calling and music streaming from a paired phone.

What dashboard cut-out does the 188x57x65 mm chassis need?

The unit measures about 188 mm wide, 57 mm high and 65 mm deep; allow roughly 0.5-2 cm extra for manual measurement tolerance.

How is the 12 V power harness connected, and which step is often missed?

Two power cables are supplied; the yellow lead must go to constant 12 V for memory retention, and the red lead to switched 12 V — skipping the constant feed loses presets and clock time.
