Portable CarPlay Receiver

The BOSS AUDIO Haudio PND7001-AD adds wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to any vehicle through a 7-inch IPS touch screen. It mounts with an adhesive bracket and draws power from a 12V cigarette lighter socket for a quick setup.

Plug-and-Play Integration

The unit connects to factory speakers via a 3.5mm AUX cable or an FM transmitter so no dashboard dismantling is required. A 1080P AHD backup camera links wirelessly and activates automatically when reversing, while SD/TF card slots and USB ports handle local media.

Universal Upgrade for Older Cars

Drivers of cars, trucks, vans or campers lacking factory infotainment gain navigation, voice control and hands-free calling in minutes. Buyers who need an integrated DIN chassis, built-in amplification or a multi-camera system should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Does the 5-watt power draw limit how loud the built-in amp can get during a long drive?

The unit is rated at 5 watts output, so extended high-volume use will hit that ceiling and the amp cannot deliver more power.

Will the 7-inch IPS screen or the wireless CarPlay module get hot or noisy after hours of continuous use?

There are no moving parts and the screen runs on low-voltage IPS technology, so heat and fan noise stay minimal even during all-day operation.

Must my car already have a 12-volt cigarette lighter socket and a 3.5-millimetre AUX input for this receiver to work?

Yes — power comes from a 12 V lighter port and audio passes through a 3.5 mm AUX connection; both must be present in the vehicle.
