Four-drawer combo lateral file

The BOSS Office Products 10822619 is a freestanding or under-desk storage unit finished in mahogany laminate. It combines two box drawers with one lateral and one vertical file drawer to organise paperwork and supplies in a single cabinet. Locking on both file drawers secures sensitive documents. The unit ships fully assembled and only requires handle and glide attachment.

Capacity and drawer layout

Four drawers provide dedicated space: two shallow box drawers for stationery, one wide lateral drawer for letter- or legal-width folders, and one vertical drawer for front-to-back filing. The lateral drawer handles high-volume side-by-side filing, while the vertical drawer suits deeper front-to-back runs; together they cover most daily filing workflows. The cabinet footprint is 31 by 22 inches, so very large archive boxes may not fit.

Build, finish and placement

Laminate wood construction with a 3mm cherry or mahogany edge band resists daily wear in professional settings. Adjustable floor glides compensate for uneven floors and keep the cabinet stable whether used alone or tucked under a desk shell. The 29-inch height aligns with standard desk surfaces for a flush fit. Ships fully assembled to minimise setup time.

Questions about this item

Will the 31-inch-wide cabinet fit under my existing desk shell?

The unit is designed to sit free standing or under a desk shell; at 31 inches wide, 22 inches deep and 29 inches high it matches standard desk-shell clearances.

How can I confirm the locking mechanism secures both file drawers after I attach the handles?

Turn the installed lock cylinder — both the lateral and vertical file drawers should engage simultaneously, preventing either from opening without the key.

Which parts come in the box and what must I supply myself?

The cabinet ships fully assembled with cherry or mahogany laminate panels, 3 mm edge banding, floor glides and a lock; you only need to attach the included handles and glides — no tools or extra hardware are required.
