Versatile Drafting Stool for Office and Studio

The BOSS B16021 drafting stool serves professionals who need adaptable seating at elevated work surfaces. Its pneumatic gas lift allows quick height changes to suit desks or drafting tables. Adjustable armrests and a contoured mesh seat provide ergonomic support during long sessions. The sleek black finish fits cleanly into most workplace environments.

275 lb Capacity with Mesh Breathability

A 275 lb weight limit accommodates a broad range of users while the premium mesh back promotes airflow. The 4 inch high-density foam cushion resists compression over extended periods. A 20 inch chrome footring offers stable foot placement at taller heights. The 27 inch nylon base and hooded dual-wheel casters deliver smooth mobility without snagging.

Upgrade from Fixed-Height Seating

This stool replaces static chairs that cannot match a drafting table or standing desk. The height-adjustable mechanism and adjustable arms solve the posture strain caused by non-adjustable alternatives. Buyers needing a seat slider, tilt tension, or back-angle adjustment will not find those controls here. The jump is worth it when flexible, breathable support at variable heights is the priority.

Questions about this item

Will the 27 inch nylon base and hooded double wheel casters roll smoothly on the low-pile carpet I already have in my home office?

The 27 inch black nylon base and hooded double wheel casters are designed for smooth rolling on typical office flooring including low-pile carpet.

How can I confirm the pneumatic gas lift is holding the stool at the height I set for my drafting table?

Sit on the stool after adjusting the lever; the seat should stay fixed at the chosen height without sinking, confirming the gas lift is functioning correctly.

Does the box include the 20 inch chrome footring and adjustable armrests, or do I need to order them separately?

The 20 inch diameter chrome footring and adjustable height armrests are included in the box; no separate purchase is required for those components.
