The BOSS Office Products B1647 is a multi-function drafting stool designed for elevated work surfaces. It suits users at standing-height desks, laboratory benches or medical stations who need adjustable seating with a 20 inch chrome footring for leg support.

250 Pound Capacity and Adjustment Range

The stool supports up to 250 pounds and provides a seat height range of 26 to 29.5 inches via pneumatic gas lift. Back angle and seat tilt locks hold positions throughout their ranges, while adjustable tilt tension controls recline resistance for varied tasks.

Questions about this item

Will the 20 inch chrome footring still clear the cross-brace on my older standing desk?

The 20 inch diameter footring sits at the base of the pneumatic cylinder, so it will clear any desk brace that is higher than the cylinder mount; measure from the floor to your brace and compare with the 26 to 29.5 inch seat-height range.

How can I confirm the back angle lock is engaging properly after assembly?

Lean back until you hear the audible click at each notch; the backrest should then stay fixed at that angle without springing forward when you release pressure.

Does the box include the hooded double-wheel casters and loop arms, or must I order them separately?

Both the hooded double-wheel casters and the fixed loop arms ship in the carton; no extra parts are required for the standard configuration.
