Burgundy Task Chair with Loop Arms

The BOSS Office B317-BY is a fabric-upholstered task chair finished in burgundy. It is built for desk-based workers who need a height-adjustable seat with a cushioned backrest and fixed loop arms. The five-star nylon base and hooded dual-wheel casters provide stable mobility on hard floors or low-pile carpet.

Adjustable Back Depth and Gas Lift

The chair’s back depth can be adjusted independently to match the user’s torso length, while the pneumatic gas lift raises or lowers the seat without tools. Together they let each person set a personalised fit for prolonged sitting sessions. The waterfall-edge seat cushion reduces pressure on the thighs.

Fixed Arms and No Tilt Controls

Loop arms are fixed in position, so users who need width, height or pivot adjustment will find them limiting. The mechanism lacks tilt tension, knee tilt, infinite lock and upright lock, meaning the seat and back move as a single unit without recline resistance settings.

Questions about this item

How long will the pneumatic gas lift hold its height before it needs replacing?

The pneumatic gas lift is a sealed unit designed for repeated height adjustment; under normal office use it typically maintains pressure for several years before any loss of lift is noticed.

Which part reaches its limit first when the chair is used continuously all day?

The fixed loop arms and nylon five-star base carry the sustained load; the base and casters are rated for constant rolling, while the foam padding compresses gradually over extended daily use.

Does the chair creak or warm up after hours of sitting?

The nylon base and hooded double-wheel casters run quietly on hard floors or low-pile carpet, and the breathable fabric upholstery does not trap body heat during long sessions.
