Mid-back box arm chair for guest seating

The BOSS Office Products B619 is a mid-back box arm chair designed for guest or visitor use in office environments. It pairs directly with the B616 model for a consistent look across a reception or meeting area. The chair supports users up to 250 lbs and ships new from the manufacturer. Its compact footprint suits smaller waiting rooms or private offices.

Thermals noise and power draw in normal use

As a passive furniture piece the B619 generates no heat, produces no audible noise and draws no electrical power during use. The CaressoftPlus upholstery is designed to remain comfortable during extended sitting periods without retaining excessive warmth. No fans, pumps or active cooling components are present in the design.

Mahogany wood legs and fixed arms define daily use

The chair rests on mahogany finished wood legs that provide a traditional aesthetic on hard floors or low-pile carpet. Fixed box arms sit at 25.5 inches high, offering consistent support when sitting down or standing up. The seat measures 19.5 inches wide by 20 inches deep with a seat height of 19 inches. The unit weighs 34 lbs, so repositioning requires some effort.

Questions about this item

How do I attach the mahogany-finish legs to the B619 chair, and which step is most often missed?

Bolt each leg to the pre-drilled frame holes using the supplied hardware; the step most often missed is fully tightening all four bolts after the chair is upright and level.

What part of the Caressoft upholstery will need attention first, and how should I maintain it?

The seat cushion shows wear first; vacuum weekly and spot-clean with a mild soap solution to extend its life.

At what point does the 250 lb weight limit become a concern during all-day use?

The 250 lb capacity is a static maximum; sustained dynamic loading near that limit can accelerate frame fatigue and cushion compression.
