Multi-Function Mesh Task Chair

The BOSS B6338 is a multi-function mesh task chair built for daily office use. It combines a SereneSoft fabric seat with a breathable mesh back and a ratchet back featuring active lumbar support. A three-paddle mechanism allows independent adjustment of seat and back angles, locking in any position throughout the tilt range. Adjustable arms and a pneumatic gas lift complete the ergonomic package.

Upgrade from basic fixed-position seating

This chair replaces static office chairs that lack independent back-angle control and adjustable lumbar support. The jump is worth it when users need to lock the seat and back at specific angles for varied tasks throughout the day. Infinite tilt lock and adjustable tension let each person set resistance to match their body weight and preferred recline posture without fixed detents.

Suits users up to 275 lbs needing all-day

The 27-inch nylon base with dual-wheel castors supports a 275 lb capacity and fits standard office floors. Buyers who require a seat slider for depth adjustment or a knee-tilt mechanism for a more natural pivot point should look at other models. The fixed seat depth and absence of knee tilt limit fit for those specific ergonomic needs.

Questions about this item

What is the diameter of the nylon base on the B6338 chair?

The chair sits on a 27 inch nylon base with dual wheel castors.

How do I adjust the seat and back angle using the 3 paddle multi-function mechanism?

Use the three paddles under the seat to unlock, set the desired tilt position, then relock; the common mistake is leaving a paddle partially engaged so the chair will not hold the angle.

When should I replace the 2 inch nylon dual wheel castors?

Replace the castors when they no longer roll smoothly, develop flat spots, or become noisy on hard floors.
