Executive chair for long desk sessions

The BOSS B7901 is an executive high-back chair built for people who spend full working days at a desk. Black CaressoftPlus vinyl covers the seat, back and padded armrests, giving a soft yet durable surface. Integrated lumbar support and extra-thick cushioning reduce fatigue during extended sitting periods. The 27-inch nylon base with five hooded double-wheel casters provides stable mobility on hard floors or low-pile carpet.

Seat height range and tilt control

Pneumatic gas lift adjusts the seat from 20 to 23.5 inches, accommodating a range of user heights and desk clearances. Tilt tension control lets you set the resistance when reclining, while an upright lock holds the back vertical for focused work. The mechanism runs out of adjustment at the extremes of the height range, so very tall or very short users may find the limits restrictive.

CaressoftPlus vinyl upholstery

The single specification that decides suitability is the CaressoftPlus vinyl covering. It is softer than standard vinyl and more resistant to cracking, but it is not breathable like mesh or genuine leather. Buyers who need a cooler seating surface for hot environments or who prefer a fabric texture should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Will the 27-inch nylon base and hooded double-wheel casters roll smoothly on the low-pile carpet I already have in my home office?

The 27-inch nylon base with five hooded double-wheel casters is designed for stability and mobility on typical office flooring, including low-pile carpet.

How can I confirm the pneumatic gas lift is holding the seat between 20 and 23.5 inches after I assemble the chair?

Sit in the chair and operate the height lever; the seat should rise and lower smoothly and lock at any point within the 20 to 23.5 inch range without drifting.

Does the B7901 ship with all bolts, washers and an Allen key, or must I supply any fasteners or tools myself?

The chair includes all necessary hardware and an Allen key for assembly; no additional fasteners or tools are required.
