Product Identity

The BOSS B809-BK is a new wingback guest chair finished in black Caressoft vinyl that mimics leather while resisting wear and simplifying cleaning. It suits reception areas, private offices or meeting rooms where a traditional executive look is required without adjustable ergonomics.

Material and Base Impact

Caressoft upholstery provides a leather-like appearance that wipes clean with a damp cloth, reducing upkeep in high-traffic spaces. The four-leg mahogany base delivers a stable, fixed-height stance on hard floors or low-pile carpet, while the absence of casters keeps the chair firmly in place during use.

Deciding Specification

A 275 lb weight capacity sets the load limit for every user; buyers who need a higher rating must select a different model. The fixed seat height and lack of tilt, lift or arm adjustments mean the chair fits only environments where a single, unchangeable sitting position is acceptable.

Questions about this item

How do I clean the Caressoft vinyl upholstery if it gets dirty?

Wipe the Caressoft vinyl with a damp cloth. The material is designed to look and feel like leather while being more durable and easier to clean than genuine leather.

Will the fixed-height seat and lack of tilt mechanisms limit comfort during long meetings?

The chair has no pneumatic gas lift, tilt tension, knee tilt, or upright lock, so the seat height and back angle remain fixed for the duration of use.

Does the mahogany wood base require any special care to prevent scratches on hard floors?

The chair uses a four-leg mahogany base with no casters, so the legs contact the floor directly; felt pads can be added to protect hard surfaces.
