Burgundy Wingback Guest Chair

The BOSS B809-BY is a traditional wingback guest chair finished in oxblood Caressoft vinyl with a four-leg mahogany base. It is designed for reception areas, private offices or meeting rooms where a fixed-height seat with a classic silhouette is preferred. The chair supports users up to 275 lb and ships fully assembled.

Installation and common issues

No assembly is required; the chair arrives ready to use on its four solid wood legs. Because there are no casters, pneumatic lift or tilt mechanisms, there are no moving parts to adjust or maintain. The fixed height means the seat cannot be raised or lowered to match different desk heights.

Weight capacity and fixed height

The 275 lb weight capacity is the key specification for deciding if this chair suits the intended users. The seat height is fixed and cannot be altered, so buyers who need adjustable seating or mobility should consider a different style.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the B809-BY guest chair is stable and ready for use once it is placed?

After positioning the chair on its four mahogany legs, sit gently to verify the frame does not wobble and the fixed-height seat feels solid; the 275 lb weight capacity means it should support an average adult without flexing.

What comes with the B809-BY and what must I provide separately?

The box contains the fully assembled wingback chair with its oxblood Caressoft vinyl upholstery and mahogany four-leg base; no casters, tools or additional hardware are included or required.

Which version of the B809-BY should I choose for a traditional office setting?

The B809-BY is offered only in the burgundy oxblood vinyl finish with a mahogany base, so that single configuration is the one suited to a classic professional environment.
