Executive Mid-Back Chair

The BOSS B9476-BK is a mid-back executive chair upholstered in black Caressoftplus vinyl. It features a chrome-finished metal base and arms with soft pads. The chair uses a heavy-duty two-paddle mechanism for height and tilt control. It supports users up to 275 lb.

Suited For Desk-Based Work

This chair suits professionals needing a durable, leather-look seat with upright locking and adjustable tilt tension. The fixed arms and lack of seat slider limit fit adjustment for shared workstations. Buyers who need knee-tilt action or adjustable lumbar support should look elsewhere.

Handles Daily Office Use

The 27 inch chrome base and hooded dual-wheel casters provide stable mobility on standard floors. Caressoftplus vinyl resists wear and cleans easily for long-term appearance. The 275 lb capacity accommodates most adults comfortably. The fixed back height and arm position offer no reconfiguration for specialised ergonomic needs.

Questions about this item

Will the 27-inch chrome base fit under my desk?

The base spans 27 inches in diameter, so measure your desk clearance to ensure it slides underneath.

Does the fixed-arm design work with a keyboard tray?

Fixed arms cannot be lowered; if your tray sits low, the arms may hit the tray edge.

How do I know the pneumatic gas lift is holding height correctly?

Sit and press the height paddle — once released, the seat should stay at the chosen level without sinking.
