Executive mid-back chair set

The BOSS Office Products B9476-GY set delivers a mid-back executive chair upholstered in Gray CaressoftPlus fabric. It suits professionals who want a single coordinated seating piece for a home or private office. Buyers needing multiple matching chairs or a separate desk surface will not be served by this single-unit package.

Thermal comfort and power

Breathable CaressoftPlus upholstery promotes airflow during long sitting sessions. The pneumatic gas lift adjusts seat height from 20 to 23 inches without external power. Chrome-plated arms with soft pads and a 27-inch chrome base add stability while keeping the chair's weight at 39 lbs.

Sustained use behavior

A heavy-duty two-paddle spring tilt mechanism with infinite lock holds the upright position or any reclined angle for extended periods. Adjustable tilt tension lets the user set resistance to match body weight. Hooded double-wheel casters roll smoothly on carpet or hard floors throughout the workday.

Questions about this item

How do I assemble the chair and what step is most often missed?

Attach the casters to the 27" chrome base, mount the gas lift, then secure the seat with the two-paddle spring tilt mechanism; the infinite-lock upright position must be engaged before first use.

Which parts will need replacement after extended use?

The pneumatic gas lift, hooded double-wheel casters, and soft arm pads are the wear items; the CaressoftPlus upholstery is durable but may show compression over time.

What limits comfort during long sitting sessions?

The fixed 19"W x 20"D seat and mid-back height restrict posture changes, and the tilt tension range is set by the spring mechanism rather than a continuous adjustment.
