Questions about this item

How is the BOSS N185-DW center drawer mounted to a desk, and which step do people often miss?

The drawer requires assembly and mounts under the desk surface using the included hardware; the step most often missed is pre-drilling pilot holes in the desk to avoid splitting the wood.

What maintenance or replacement will the N185-DW driftwood drawer need over time?

The laminate driftwood finish should be cleaned with a damp cloth and mild detergent; the slide mechanism may need occasional silicone lubricant, and any damaged hardware is covered by the one-year limited warranty.

What limit appears first when the 24-inch wide drawer is fully loaded and used daily?

The 2.5-inch height restricts the volume of items that can be stored, so tall folders or bulky objects will hit the drawer ceiling before the slide travel or weight capacity becomes an issue.
