Bow-front desk shell for executive offices

The BOSS N189-DW is a bow-front desk shell finished in driftwood laminate on a wood core. It provides a 71-inch wide work surface that deepens from 36 to 41 inches at the centre curve. The 29.5-inch height suits standard task seating. Assembly is required before use.

Work-surface capacity and depth limits

The curved profile adds usable depth at the centre without increasing the overall footprint beyond 41 inches. A 71-inch width accommodates dual monitors, paperwork and a laptop side by side. The 0.1-inch edge band protects the laminate from daily impacts. Shallow returns or pedestals deeper than the 36-inch ends will overhang the surface.

Laminate construction and assembly constraints

The wood-core laminate resists scratches and light moisture but cannot be refinished like solid timber. The 0.1-inch thickness means heavy point loads should be spread with a mat or board. The desk shell ships in one carton and requires on-site assembly; no tools or hardware beyond the included fixings are mentioned.

Questions about this item

Will the 71" width bow-front desk shell fit alongside my existing 36"-deep credenza?

The desk shell measures 71" wide and 41" deep at the bow, so it extends 5" beyond a standard 36"-deep credenza; allow that extra clearance when planning the layout.

How can I verify the driftwood laminate finish is intact after assembly?

Inspect the 0.1"-thick banded edges and both the frame and base surfaces for consistent driftwood color and smooth laminate with no chips or scratches.

Does the box include the bow-front desk shell only, or are pedestals and hardware supplied?

The package contains one desk shell; pedestals, drawers, and any mounting hardware are sold separately.
