Heavy-Duty 40-Sheet Stapling

The Bostitch B175-GRAY-VP handles up to 40 sheets per press. No-Jam technology reduces staple misfires during high-volume tasks. A flat-clinch mechanism keeps paper stacks neat and compact. It suits offices, classrooms and home workspaces that need reliable binding.

Palm-Size Desktop Users

The compact frame fits in one hand and stands vertically or horizontally on a non-skid rubber base. The 180-degree opening allows tacking or crafting on boards and fabric. Buyers needing electric operation or capacity beyond 40 sheets should consider larger units. This model is built for manual, moderate-throughput use.

1250-Staple Value Pack

The pack includes 1,250 staples, supporting thousands of 40-sheet jobs before reorder. Flat clinching maximises drawer and file space by reducing stack height. When documents exceed the 40-sheet limit, the mechanism cannot close cleanly. For lighter loads the stapler performs consistently with minimal effort.

Questions about this item

What size staples does the B175-GRAY-VP use for its 40-sheet capacity?

The B175-GRAY-VP uses standard 1/4-inch leg staples to reach its 40-sheet capacity; the value pack includes 1250 staples to get you started.

Can I still use my existing staple remover with the flat-clinch staples this model produces?

Yes, the included claw remover and most standard removers work with the flat-clinch staples this stapler forms.

How do I verify the No-Jam mechanism is functioning correctly after loading staples?

Staple a few test sheets; the staples should drive cleanly without misfires and the legs should clinch flat against the paper.
