Two-hole sharpener for standard and jumbo pencils

The Bostitch Office PS2-ASST Twist-n-Sharp Duo sharpens both standard and jumbo starter pencils in one unit. A ratchet mechanism speeds up the sharpening action while Tip Saver Technology stops the blade before the point becomes too sharp. An easy-open shavings tray keeps the desktop tidy. The sharpener ships new in an assorted colour chosen at random.

Suits classrooms and homes with mixed pencil sizes

Teachers and parents who need to sharpen both regular and thicker starter pencils will find the dual-hole design convenient. Buyers who only ever use standard pencils may prefer a single-hole model. Anyone who requires a specific colour to match existing supplies should look elsewhere because the colour is not selectable.

Check that your pencils fit the two hole sizes

Verify that the standard and jumbo pencils you use match the two openings on this sharpener. Confirm you have space on the desk for the shavings tray to open fully. The unit is ready to use out of the box with no power source or assembly required.

Questions about this item

What two pencil diameters does the PS2-ASST accept?

The sharpener has two holes: one for standard pencils and one for jumbo or starter pencils, which are thicker than regular ones.

Will the ratchet mechanism damage the softer graphite in older primary-school pencils?

The ratchet mechanism sharpens faster and easier, while Tip Saver Technology prevents oversharpening and extends the life of any pencil inserted.

How can I confirm the shavings tray is seated correctly after emptying it?

The tray is designed for easy opening; when pushed fully closed it clicks into place, keeping the desktop clean during use.
