Manual Pencil Sharpener for Colored Pencils

The Bostitch PS1-ADJ is a handheld manual sharpener designed for colored pencils and standard graphite pencils. Its compact size suits students, artists, and anyone needing a portable sharpening tool for school bags or desk drawers. The single-hole design accepts a range of pencil diameters.

Ratchet Mechanism and Adjustable Tip Dial

A ratchet mechanism allows comfortable back-and-forth twisting of the pencil rather than continuous rotation. A center dial selects between a sharp or blunt point to match the task. Tip Saver technology stops the cutter at the chosen setting to prevent over-sharpening and extend pencil life.

Shavings Tray Limits and Manual Operation

The integrated shavings tray opens from a discreet side panel for disposal but holds only a small volume before requiring emptying. As a fully manual device, sharpening speed and consistency depend entirely on user effort. It cannot handle high-volume classroom use as efficiently as electric models.
