Safe Volume Limits

These Botesty Sound Ivy headphones are wired on-ear models designed for children aged three and up. A 3.5 mm jack connects directly to tablets, laptops, smartphones and other devices without any battery. Two selectable limits of 85 dB and 94 dB let parents match the output to study or travel environments.

Passive Operation

Because the headphones draw no power, they produce no heat and no fan noise during use. The 4.9 ft nylon-braided cord resists tangling and tearing, so the only sound a child hears is the audio content itself. Volume stays within the chosen cap regardless of the source device settings.

Classroom Upgrade

The built-in microphone and in-line push-button control replace basic earbuds that lack call handling for remote lessons. Foldable 90° swivel earcups and a stretchable headband shrink the footprint for backpack storage. Buyers needing wireless freedom or active noise cancellation will not find those features here.

Questions about this item

How do I connect the 3.5 mm jack and switch between 85 dB and 94 dB volume limits?

Plug the 3.5 mm connector into the device's audio port, then use the inline switch to select 85 dB for study or 94 dB for travel; the push-button remote handles calls and playback.

Which parts of the Ivy headphones are most likely to wear out first?

The 4.9 ft nylon-braided cable and the over-ear cushions take the most daily stress; the adjustable headband and 90° swivel hinges are reinforced but should be checked periodically for looseness.

At what volume level does the limiter engage during long listening sessions?

The hardware limiter caps output at the chosen setting — 85 dB in study mode or 94 dB in travel mode — so sustained playback never exceeds the selected threshold.
