What the Pi8 delivers

The Bowers & Wilkins Pi8 true-wireless earbuds use a 12 mm carbon-cone driver and a Qualcomm chipset with aptX Lossless to deliver 24-bit high-resolution audio over Bluetooth. Active noise cancellation adapts to the environment while three microphones enhance call clarity. A charging case provides an additional 8 hours of battery life beyond the 6.5 hours offered by the buds themselves.

Who these suit and who they don't

Listeners who want high-resolution wireless audio with adaptive noise cancellation and multi-device pairing for daily travel, exercise or work calls will find the Pi8 a strong fit. Buyers who need more than 6.5 hours of continuous playback without the case or who require a fully waterproof rating for swimming should consider other options.

The specification that decides fit

The 12 mm carbon-cone driver and aptX Lossless support define the Pi8's sound signature and wireless quality ceiling; if your source devices do not support aptX Lossless you will not hear the full 24-bit resolution these buds are engineered to deliver.

Questions about this item

What is included in the box and do I need to buy anything else?

The box contains two Pi8 earbuds, a Midnight Blue charging case, a charging cable, ear tips in XS, S, M and L sizes, a 3.5 mm audio cable and a literature pack.

Should I choose the Midnight Blue version or another colour for the best noise cancellation?

Noise cancellation performance is identical across colours; Midnight Blue is simply the finish on the earbuds and case.

How long will the 6.5 hour battery last during a typical commute with aptX Lossless active?

The 6.5 hour figure is the rated earbud listening time; the charging case provides an additional 8 hours, so a full cycle delivers multiple commutes before the case needs recharging.
