What the Px8 headphones deliver

The Bowers & Wilkins Px8 over-ear wireless headphones use a redesigned acoustic system with an angled carbon drive unit to produce detailed audio and superior imaging. Advanced active noise cancellation blocks unwanted sound while two adjustable external microphones improve voice clarity for calls. Soft Nappa leather and lightweight aluminium arms provide comfort during long listening sessions. The B&W Music App on iOS or Android handles EQ, ANC modes and voice control.

Check your devices and charging habits

The headphones connect wirelessly, so confirm your phone, tablet or computer supports Bluetooth audio streaming. A full charge takes about two hours and yields up to 30 hours of playback, while a 15-minute quick charge adds roughly 7 hours. If you regularly need longer stretches between charges, plan for the two-hour recharge window. The companion app requires iOS or Android, so verify your operating system version is supported.

Heat, noise and power in daily use

Passive ear-cup sealing and active noise cancellation reduce external sound without adding audible fan noise or heat. The aluminium frame and leather pads stay comfortable during extended wear because no active cooling is required. Battery draw is low enough that a short top-up restores hours of listening, and the headphones do not emit noticeable warmth during normal operation.

Questions about this item

What cables and accessories come with the Px8 headphones, and is a charging adapter included?

The headphones ship with a USB-C charging cable, an audio cable and a flight adapter plus a carry case; a wall charger is not supplied so you will need any standard USB-C power source.

The spec lists 30-hour battery life and a 15-minute quick charge — which figure should I use to decide if it covers my commute?

The 30-hour rating is for a full two-hour charge with noise cancelling on; the 15-minute quick charge adds roughly seven hours, so a short top-up can handle a day of travel.

How much real-world listening time does the 30-hour claim deliver with noise cancelling active?

Expect close to the quoted 30 hours over Bluetooth with ANC enabled; louder volumes or frequent calls will reduce it, but the quick-charge feature restores seven hours in 15 minutes.
