Mitsubishi EW230U replacement lamp module

This new projector lamp module combines a 185W UHP bulb with its housing so it installs directly into the Mitsubishi EW230U projector. The unit is rated for 4000 hours of operation and is built to ISO 9001 quality standards. It arrives fully assembled and ready to fit without extra tools.

Suitable for EW230U owners needing a drop

Buyers who need a different wattage, a bare bulb without housing, or a lamp for another projector model should look elsewhere. The module is specific to the EW230U and VLT-EX240LP part numbers and will not fit other devices.

185W UHP lamp type with 4000-hour rating

The decisive specification is the 185W UHP lamp type paired with a 4000-hour rated life; the projector’s ballast is calibrated for this exact wattage and lamp technology. Matching both figures ensures correct ignition and brightness.

Questions about this item

How many hours of projection does the 4,000-hour lamp life actually deliver in a Mitsubishi EW230U?

The 185 W UHP lamp is rated for 4,000 hours of typical use in the EW230U projector; actual runtime varies with brightness mode and ambient temperature.

What connector or interface does the VLT-EX240LP module use to seat in the projector?

The lamp module plugs directly into the Mitsubishi EW230U’s dedicated lamp socket; no separate cables or adapters are required for installation.

Will the assembled housing fit the Mitsubishi EW230U without modification?

Yes, the bulb comes pre-mounted in a housing built to the VLT-EX240LP form factor, so it drops into the EW230U lamp compartment and locks in place.
