Direct-fit replacement lamp

This 330W lamp module is a new Boxlight PRO5000SL replacement projector lamp comprising a fully assembled bulb and housing, ready for easy installation in your Boxlight projector. It uses a new Ushio NSH 330W bulb and is manufactured to ISO9001 standards with strict quality checks for beam performance, ignition, voltage, appearance, connections and run-time.

Upgrade from dim or failed lamps

It replaces an ageing or failed original lamp when brightness has dropped or the projector warns of end-of-life, restoring rated output for continued use. The jump is worth it when the existing module reaches its 2,000-hour rated life or shows colour shift, flicker or startup failure that cleaning cannot fix.

Practical limits of the NSH module

The lamp is rated for 2,000 hours of operation, after which brightness and colour stability decline and replacement is required. It is a consumable component with a finite ignition cycle count, so frequent on-off switching reduces effective lifespan. The 330W power draw and NSH bulb characteristics are fixed by the projector design and cannot be altered.

Questions about this item

What housing does the 330 W Ushio NSH bulb come in?

The lamp module is a fully assembled bulb and housing, so the 330 W Ushio NSH bulb arrives pre-installed in its projector-ready housing.

Which step do people skip when fitting the PRO5000SL lamp module?

After sliding the module in, many forget to reset the projector’s lamp-hour counter, so the replacement timer does not start from zero.

When will the 2,000-hour Ushio NSH bulb need replacing?

Plan on a new lamp module after roughly 2,000 hours of projection time, as the Ushio NSH bulb is rated for that lifespan.
