Replacement lamp for Mitsubishi projectors

The BOXLIGHT WL639 module is a new 261 W NSH lamp supplied with housing for direct installation in compatible Mitsubishi projectors. It matches the VLT-XL650LP specification and is built to ISO 9001 quality checks for beam performance, ignition, voltage and run-time. Buyers needing a different wattage or a bare bulb without housing will not be served by this module.

Rated life in normal and economy modes

In normal operation the lamp is rated for 2,000 hours; switching to economy mode extends the rating to 5,000 hours. The 261 W NSH bulb delivers consistent brightness across that span, but output will gradually decline as the rated hours are reached. Users who run projectors continuously for long sessions should plan for earlier replacement than the economy figure suggests.

NSH lamp interface and compatibility limits

The lamp uses the standard NSH connection and form factor required by the Mitsubishi WL639 / VLT-XL650LP chassis, so it fits only projectors designed for that exact module. It cannot be adapted to models that specify a different wattage, bulb type or housing geometry. Installers must verify the projector's service manual calls for the 261 W NSH assembly before purchase.

Questions about this item

Will the WL639 lamp module fit my Mitsubishi projector that currently uses the VLT-XL650LP part?

Yes, the WL639 is the Mitsubishi model number VLT-XL650LP, supplied as a fully assembled bulb and housing for direct installation.

How can I verify the 261W NSH lamp is performing correctly once installed?

The projector should ignite reliably, display a stable image at full brightness, and the lamp timer will track up to 2,000 hours in normal mode or 5,000 hours in economy mode.

Does the WL639 package include only the bare bulb or the complete housing, and are any extra parts needed?

It arrives as a complete module with the new Ushio NSH 261W bulb already fitted in the housing, so no separate components are required for installation.
