Bradley S19314SB Emergency Station

The Bradley S19314SB is a floor-mounted combination shower and eyewash unit built from galvanised steel pipe with a yellow finish. It delivers a plastic shower spray head and a stainless steel uncovered eyewash bowl for eye coverage. The unit includes a universal identification sign and an inspection tag, and it connects via a 1 1/4 inch male NPT inlet at the top.

Facilities needing barrier-free access should look

This station suits industrial sites, laboratories and plant floors that require a plumbed emergency fixture with a minimum operating temperature of 32 degrees F. It is not barrier-free, so locations needing wheelchair-accessible clearance must select a different model. The unit carries California Proposition 65 warnings for cancer and reproductive harm, which may restrict use in certain regulated environments.

Installation requires a 1 1/4 inch male NPT supply

The floor-mounted design anchors directly to the facility floor, freeing wall space and simplifying pipe routing in open areas. Galvanised steel construction resists corrosion in damp conditions, while the uncovered stainless steel bowl allows quick visual inspection. No foot pedal or showerhead shroud is included, so actuation and flow pattern depend on the facility's valve choice.

Questions about this item

What plumbing must already be in place for the 1 1/4 in NPT top inlet?

A 1 1/4 inch NPT male supply line with adequate pressure and flow for combined shower and eyewash operation must be installed at the mounting location before this unit can be connected.

Can the galvanized steel pipe and plastic showerhead work with older supply lines?

Yes, the galvanized steel piping and 1 1/4 inch NPT connection are compatible with existing threaded steel or brass supply lines of the same size and thread type.

How do I verify the eyewash covers the eyes properly after installation?

Activate the eyewash and confirm the dual streams meet at the centre of the stainless steel bowl to irrigate both eyes simultaneously, then check the inspection tag shows the current test date.
