Brady 133161 lockout hasp
The Brady 133161 is a steel lockout hasp designed for maintenance crews who need to isolate energy sources during service work. Its scissor-action jaws accept up to six padlocks so that each authorised person can apply their own lock. The vinyl-coated finish resists rust and survives temperatures from -30 to 350 degrees F.
Scissor-action jaw limitation
The closed jaw provides a one-inch hole and accepts padlock shackles no larger than two-fifths of an inch in diameter. Only a single jaw is fitted, so the device cannot span multiple isolation points at once. Locks with thicker shackles or wider bodies will not fit through the aperture.
Six-lock capacity and headroom
Up to six padlocks can be applied simultaneously, giving a small team enough personal locks for a typical lockout. When all six positions are occupied the hasp is full and no additional locks can be added. Teams larger than six people will need a second hasp or a different group lockout device.

Questions about this item
Should I pick the 6-padlock hasp or a smaller one?
This model accepts up to six padlocks with a maximum shackle diameter of 2/5 in; choose it when your lockout procedure requires multiple authorised locks on a single energy source.
What does the 350 Degrees F rating mean on the shop floor?
The vinyl-coated steel hasp retains its strength and rust resistance up to 350 °F and down to -30 °F, so it survives hot piping or freezing outdoor panels without degrading.
How does the 1 in closed jaw hole size limit what I can lock out?
The 1 in jaw opening fits standard valve handles, breaker toggles and similar isolation points; anything wider will not close securely in the scissor-action jaws.
