Brady 5890-A LetterLabel Pack

The Brady 5890-A LetterLabel pack supplies 25 die-cut adhesive labels with uppercase letters on a black background. Yellow characters use the Archivo Narrow font at 1-1/2 inch height for clear plant markings. Permanent adhesive suits indoor and outdoor utility applications. Each label measures 1-7/8 inches high by 1-3/8 inches wide.

Retroreflective Sheeting Durability

Retroreflective sheeting maintains legibility under sustained outdoor exposure and indoor lighting. Permanent adhesive resists peeling across temperature cycles without embossing or gradient effects. Solid yellow characters on black background stay visible during extended utility use. APWA colour compliance is not claimed for this product.

Replaces Hand-Lettered Plant Tags

This pack replaces hand-written or non-retroreflective tags that fade under weather. The jump is worth it when crews need consistent uppercase lettering across multiple locations. Buyers who need lower-case characters, numeric sequences, or APWA-compliant colour coding should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How much heat does the 5890-A label generate when exposed to sunlight all day?

The retroreflective sheeting reflects light rather than absorbing it, so the label stays at ambient temperature even in continuous outdoor exposure.

What surface must I already have clean and dry for the 5890-A label to adhere properly?

The permanent adhesive bonds to any smooth, clean substrate — metal, painted wood, plastic or concrete — provided the surface is free of dust, oil and moisture.

Will the 5890-A label's yellow characters remain legible on my older faded black equipment?

Yes, the solid yellow uppercase letters on a black background keep high contrast against weathered surfaces, and the retroreflective material boosts visibility in low light.
