This 55-gallon drum spill kit absorbs up to 40 gallons of oil-based fluids. It is designed for facility and traffic safety environments where hydrocarbon spills occur. Replaces Loose Absorbents and Smaller Kits

The drum consolidates socks, pads, pillows and PPE into a single UN-rated 1H2/880/S/20 container. Upgrading from scattered supplies is worth it when spills exceed the capacity of a small bucket kit or when regulatory compliance demands a labelled, lockable drum. The kit eliminates the need to gather components from multiple locations during an emergency.

Handles Spills Up to 40 Gallons

Included sorbents comprise four 3-inch by 12-foot socks, fifty 15-inch by 19-inch pads and eight 18-inch by 18-inch pillows. This volume comfortably covers medium-scale oil spills on pavement or containment areas. The kit runs out when the total absorbed fluid reaches 40 gallons or when the supplied PPE and handbook are depleted and not replenished.
