Clear Thermal Transfer Labels

Brady THT-18-430-3 labels are clear polyester labels with a gloss finish designed for thermal transfer printing. Each roll contains 3000 pre-cut labels measuring 3 inches wide by 1 inch high. The B-430 material offers aggressive permanent adhesive and is autoclavable and halogen-free.

Suits high-volume identification tasks

These labels suit operations using compatible Brady printers such as the BBP11, BBP12, BBP81, i5100, i7100, IP Series or THT models. They are not suited for direct thermal printers or for applications requiring a removable adhesive or a matte finish.

Printer series compatibility decides fit

The single specification that determines whether this is the right part is the printer series compatibility list: BBP11, BBP12, BBP81, i5100, i7100, IP Series and THT. Verify your printer model against this list before ordering.

Questions about this item

Will the aggressive adhesive need replacement if labels are autoclaved repeatedly?

The B-430 polyester labels are autoclavable and halogen-free, with a permanent aggressive adhesive designed to withstand sterilisation cycles without peeling.

What printer component limits throughput when running 5000 labels per roll on a BBP11 or i5100?

Printhead wear from continuous thermal-transfer printing on glossy polyester is the first limit; the ribbon and label advance mechanisms are rated for the full roll length.

Does the clear glossy finish generate extra heat or noise during all-day printing on a THT series printer?

No additional heat or noise is produced; the thin polyester stock feeds smoothly through the thermal printhead at standard speed.
