What the kettle is and who it serves

The Brentwood Appliances KT-1618 is a cordless electric kettle with a 1.7 litre capacity and 1200 watt power rating. It suits households that want fast boiling for tea, coffee or instant meals without a stove. The black and silver finish fits most kitchen styles.

The specification that decides fit

The 1.7 litre volume sets the maximum amount of water you can heat in one cycle. If you regularly need more hot water than that, this model will require multiple boils. The 1200 watt element determines how quickly it reaches boiling point.

Installation ease and common issues

The kettle lifts off its power base for cordless filling and pouring, so no plumbing or tools are needed. Ensure the base sits on a flat, dry surface and the connector is clean. Boil-dry and overheat protections reduce risk if the kettle is switched on empty.
