1.7 L Glass Kettle for Daily Tea

The Brentwood KT-1900PR is a 1.7 L cordless electric kettle made from borosilicate glass with a purple finish. It is suited to households that want a visible water level and a lightweight kettle for regular hot drinks. The concealed heating element keeps the interior easy to clean.

100 W Heating and Boil-Dry Safety

The kettle draws 100 watts, so it will take longer to reach a boil than higher-wattage models. Its boil-dry and overheat protection cuts power automatically if the kettle is switched on empty. The 360-degree swivel base allows placement at any angle but does not add temperature control.

Replaces Stovetop or Basic Plastic Kettles

This model upgrades from a stove-top kettle or a basic plastic electric kettle by adding a glass body, blue LED illumination and a removable filter. The jump is worth it when you prefer BPA-free materials and a cordless pour, but not if you need variable temperature settings or faster boiling.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 1.7 L size or a smaller capacity?

The 1.7 L capacity suits households needing several cups per boil; smaller kettles heat faster but require refills for larger batches.

How does 1,100 watts affect boiling speed in daily use?

At 1,100 watts the kettle brings a full 1.7 L to a boil in roughly four to five minutes, noticeably quicker than lower-wattage models.

What does the 360-degree swivel base mean for placement?

The base rotates freely so the kettle locks on from any angle, and the built-in cord storage keeps the countertop tidy.
