Metal chassis, practical ports

A grey metal case houses a 15.6-inch 1920 x 1080 IPS panel at 60 Hz. Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, Gigabit Ethernet, two USB 3.2 Gen1 ports, one USB 2.0 port and HDMI 1.4 for 4K 30 Hz output. A 4000 mAh battery delivers three to five hours of mixed use, while a backlit keyboard, fingerprint reader and webcam privacy shutter cover daily security and comfort.

Step up from DDR4 integrated rigs

Replacing an older laptop limited to DDR4 memory and basic integrated graphics, this system adds DDR5 bandwidth and RDNA 2 graphics cores for smoother 1080p gameplay and faster content creation. The upgrade makes sense when you need a single portable device for both work and play without an external GPU.

Questions about this item

Will the 15.6 inch 1920 x 1080 IPS panel at 60 Hz work well for competitive gaming?

The 60 Hz refresh rate suits casual and single-player titles; competitive shooters often benefit from higher refresh panels not present on this model.

Is the 16 GB DDR5 4800 MHz memory soldered or installed in SO-DIMM slots for future upgrades?

The memory uses dual-channel SO-DIMM modules, so both sticks can be replaced with higher-capacity DDR5 kits when needed.
