Dual-outlet monitor for home appliances
The Briidea electricity usage monitor plugs into a standard socket and provides two independently measured outlets. It tracks real-time power, voltage, current, frequency, power factor, cumulative kilowatt-hours and running time for each connected device. A Class 1.0 accuracy rating and a high-precision current sensor deliver resolution down to 0.01 W, 0.001 A and 0.01 V. The unit retains stored data during power loss and includes an overload warning when output exceeds 1200 W.
Check your mains voltage and device draw
Verify that your local supply falls within the 120–220 V, 50/60 Hz input range before connecting. Each outlet supports a maximum of 10 A and 1200 W at 120 V, so confirm that the combined load of both appliances stays inside those limits. The monitor requires no installation beyond plugging it in, but the testable range starts above 0.20 W, so very low standby loads may not register. The 14 AWG cord and ABS flame-retardant housing are built for indoor household use.
Replaces single-outlet plug-in meters
This unit supersedes basic single-socket watt meters by letting you compare two appliances side by side without swapping leads. The jump is worthwhile when you need simultaneous kilowatt-hour logging on a fridge and a TV, or any pair of devices that share a wall outlet. It also adds power-factor and frequency readouts that simpler meters omit, helping you spot inefficient equipment. Builders who need three or more monitored circuits, or industrial three-phase analysis, will need a different class of instrument.

Questions about this item
Does the unit ship with both outlets ready to use or do I need to buy extra cords or adapters?
The monitor has two built-in outlets and a 14AWG cord so you can plug two devices straight in without extra accessories
Should I pick a different model if I need to track appliances that draw more than 1200 W per outlet?
Each outlet is rated 1200 W at 120 V 10 A; for higher loads you would need a meter with a higher current rating
What does the 1200 W rating actually tell me when the meter is plugged into a real fridge or TV?
It means each outlet can safely handle up to 1200 W continuous load while measuring watts volts amps frequency and power factor down to 0.01 W resolution
