Photochromic Computer Glasses Brown

BroBlackDog Comfortable photochromic computer glasses combine frames and lenses that darken together under UV light. Indoors they stay transparent for screen work; outdoors they shift to a tinted state for sun protection. The injection-acetate frame weighs 0.159 kilograms and uses a 5.3 millimetre lens width with a 15 millimetre temple length.

Upgrade from Static Blue-Light Glasses

Standard blue-light glasses only filter indoor screen light and stay clear outside. These add 100 percent UV protection and automatic tinting so one pair covers office, commute and outdoor leisure. The jump is worth it when you move between environments often and want a single solution instead of swapping eyewear.

Sustained Comfort Under Daily Use

Injection-molded acetate and nylon photochromic lenses keep their shape and transition speed through repeated indoor-outdoor cycles. Soft non-slip nose pads and the deliberately weighted frame distribute pressure evenly during long sessions. The 99 percent blue-light filter and full UV block remain effective without degradation over extended wear.

Questions about this item

What bridge width do these frames have for nose fit?

The bridge measures 2 mm, so the frames sit close together on the nose; check that this narrow span matches your facial measurements before ordering.

How do the photochromic lenses and frames activate, and what step do users often miss?

Both lenses and frames darken only under UV light outdoors; they will not transition behind a car windscreen or indoor lighting because glass blocks the UV trigger.

When should the blue-light filtering performance be rechecked or the glasses replaced?

The lenses filter up to 99 % of harmful blue light indoors; if screen glare or eye strain returns after extended daily use, have an optician verify the coating integrity.
