40kg commercial price-computing scale

The BROMECH BCS01AA is a counter-top scale built for commercial food weighing with a 40kg capacity and 5g accuracy. A stainless-steel platform and ABS base support produce, meat and other goods. An LCD with green backlight and dual screens shows weight, unit price and total price. It runs on a built-in lead-acid battery charged by a 100-240V adapter.

Upgrade from non-computing or lower-capacity scales

This model replaces basic weighing-only scales by adding price computing, counting, accumulation and change calculation. The jump is worth it when you need to calculate transaction totals directly at the counter. It also replaces smaller 30kg or 15kg platforms when larger items must be weighed. The mechanical keyboard and six PLU keys speed up repetitive entries.

Check power, platform size and legal-for-trade needs

Verify that a US-plug charger suits your outlet and that the 14.9 by 10.6 inch platform fits your workspace. The scale is not legal for trade, so it cannot be used where regulated pricing is required. Fully charge the battery before first use and every three months during storage to maintain performance.
