Tri-band WiFi 6E USB adapter

The BrosTrend AXE5400 connects a desktop or laptop to 6 GHz, 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz networks through a USB 3.0 port. It uses a Realtek WiFi 6E chip with OFDMA and MU-MIMO to deliver a combined link rate of 5400 Mbps. Windows 11 is required for the 6 GHz band; Windows 10 only supports 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz.

Pre-loaded driver and adjustable antennas

The driver is stored on the adapter itself, so no separate CD or download is needed for initial setup. Two rotatable external antennas with Beamforming focus the signal toward the router for better reception. WPA3 encryption is supported for stronger wireless security.

Plug into USB 3.0 and run the installer

Installation takes three steps: insert the adapter into a USB 3.0 port, run the pre-loaded driver installer, then join the network. A blue-screen error may appear if another WiFi utility conflicts; uninstalling the other utility usually resolves it. Buyers whose router lacks a 6 GHz radio cannot use the highest band.
