Compact monochrome laser multifunction

The Brother DCP-7065DN is a black-and-white laser multifunction printer built for home or small-office use. It prints and copies at up to 27 pages per minute and includes automatic duplex printing. A 600 x 600 dpi colour scanner handles digitising tasks. Connectivity is provided by USB 2.0 and Ethernet for wired network sharing.

Suited to wired networks and duplex workloads

This unit suits users who need automatic two-sided printing and a wired Ethernet connection for shared access. It runs on 110-120V AC power. Buyers who require Wi-Fi or mobile printing support should look at other models. Those needing colour output or higher print speeds will also need a different device.

27 ppm duplex print speed decides fit

The 27-page-per-minute duplex print rate is the key figure for matching this printer to your workload. It determines how quickly double-sided documents are produced in a small-office environment. Verify that this throughput meets your daily volume before purchasing.

Questions about this item

Does the DCP-7065DN need a computer with a USB 2.0 port to print?

It prints over Ethernet or USB 2.0, so a network connection works without a direct USB link.

Will the 600 x 600 dpi scanner work with my older Windows XP machine?

Brother supplies drivers for legacy Windows versions; check the Brother website for the exact XP package.

How can I verify the automatic duplex is functioning after install?

Print a two-page test document; the second page should emerge on the reverse side of the first sheet.
