Label tape for PT label makers

The Brother M731 cartridge supplies black text on a green background for indoor labelling tasks at home, in the office or at school. It is a non-laminated tape designed for flat, dry surfaces and fits a wide range of PT-series label printers.

Indoor use on flat dry surfaces

The tape performs reliably in typical indoor environments where moisture and abrasion are minimal. No special power or cooling considerations apply because the cartridge is a passive consumable used inside the printer mechanism.

Fits PT-100 PT-110 PT-45M and many more

The cartridge installs directly into compatible PT models including the 55, 65, 70, 80, 85, 90 and 100 series, freeing you from buying separate label stock. It requires no additional hardware or software beyond a supported label maker.

Questions about this item

How do I install the M731 tape cartridge in my PT-65 label maker?

Open the cover, remove any used cartridge, insert the M731 with the green tape facing up until it clicks, then close the cover and feed once to align.

What will I need to replace after the 26.20 ft of black on green tape runs out?

Purchase a new Brother M731 cartridge; the entire tape supply and print head are integrated, so no separate ribbon or roller is required.

At what point does the non-laminated surface start to wear on flat, dry indoor surfaces?

The printed text remains legible until abrasion or moisture damages the exposed ink layer, which occurs sooner than on laminated tapes.
